Mostazafan Foundation has an agreement with Astrakhan officials to develop cooperation in trade, economy, and transportation, state public relations of the foundation.
Following his meeting with Astrakhan officials, the head of Mostazafan Foundation, Parviz Fatah announced on the sideline of the meeting about final negotiations to sign a memorandum of understanding, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"In negotiations, it was agreed that a protocol would be drafted between Mostazafan Foundation and Astarakhan officials that would be signed by officials of the two countries," said Fatah.
The negations are based on the official framework of Iran and Russian Federation interactions. The two sides will is to boost cooperation, trade and economic interactions, and the development of cooperation in different parts including the International North-South Transportation Corridor that would guarantee the interest of the two sides, he noted.
It was decided in negotiations that in the transportation sector, 2 million tons of commodity transported from the corridor and in next step the capacity would increase to 5 million tons and then 20 million tons.
