Iran's new government will complete the unfinished water projects in Golestan Province, Governor of Golestan Province Hadi Haghshenas told Trend.

"The construction of Narmab dam reservoir has been completed but the water transport and distribution network would be completed by the new government," he said.

"Although the Narmab dam intake could have been done with the previous government, due to climate conditions, it didn't happen," he explained.

"The Expediency Council has issued a permit to establish the Incheboron Free Zone but its operation will fall on the ruling of the new government," said Haghshenas.

There were other projects, which, according to the official, will be finished by Iran's new government.

"The drainage of 280 hectares lands, equal to 50 percent of lands in Golestan Province has been completed and, the remaining part falls on the time of the new government," he said.

Same goes for the establishment of the Gomishan port - the project kicked off the ground but will be finished during the time of the new government.

Also, Haghshenas said the the combined power plant in Aliabad is currently a gas plant that would be transformed into a combined power plant. This will also be handled by the country's new government.
