Iran's foreign policy priority is to deepen relations with neighboring countries, said Iranian President, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Ebrahim Raisi has indicated that the government's policy is to improve and expand ties with neighbors and regional countries to create stability and sustainable security in the region.

The official has emphasized solving regional crises and problems through dialogue saying Iran's foreign policy priority is to promote ties with neighboring countries by respecting them.

The new administrations have already displayed its aim to improve ties with regional countries when the Foreign Minister has attended a regional meeting in Iraq to reduce disagreement and tensions, the president noted.

It is expected that negotiation between Iran and Saudi Arabia would resume with Iraq working as an intermediary as the Iranian Foreign Minister has announced he had talks with his Saudi counterpart, which is considered a positive sign to increase regional ties.
