TEHRAN, Iran, May 13. Poland seeks to buy steel and iron from Iran, said the head of Iran-Poland Joint Chamber of Commerce Rahim Banamolaei, Trend reports citing ILNA.
He said a delegation consisting of those working in the steel and iron sector, has arrived from Poland, seeking to expand cooperation with Iran.
He pointed out that Iran has not joined the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), therefore the Polish side suggested that by coordination of joint chambers of commerce, banks could open an account for importers and exporters of the two countries for transactions.
The Iran-Poland Joint Chamber of Commerce has suggested cooperation and investment between the two countries.
Iran shares 9 percent of the world's mines and can produce and export 25 million tons of steel for 2022 and 2023.
