IRGC commander supports Iranian nuclear negotiators
Baku, Azerbaijan, Apr.7
By Fatih Karimov - Trend:
Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari supported the Iranian nuclear negotiators who "defended the nation's legal rights."
He urged the negotiating team to make use of its high potential for securing the nation's dignity, Iran's Fars news agency reported on April 7.
The Iranian nation's resistance against the US incapacitated its political force against the Islamic Republic, he added.
The latest talks by Iran and the group P5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) ended in a framework agreement on April 2.
The deal would limit Tehran's nuclear activities beyond the NPT requirements to ensure the great powers of the peacefulness of the country's nuclear program, and in return it would lift all international sanctions on the Islamic Republic's economy.
