NAM supports Iran enrichment right, nuclear deal
The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) has supported Iran's peaceful nuclear program including Tehran's right to enrichment as well as the historic nuclear deal, IRNA reported.
In a statement issued on the sidelines of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors in Vienna on Wednesday, the principle stand of NAM on the inalienable right of all countries for access to nuclear energy for civilian purposes was reiterated.
The NAM Group also welcomed nuclear agreement reached between Iran and P5+1 group of world powers known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and said it can help peaceful settlement of Iran's nuclear issue.
The statement urged the global community to positively contribute to this objective and also welcomed signing of roadmap between Iran and the UN nuclear watchdog.
In the meantime, IAEA announced it has sent its questions on Iran's nuclear program to Tehran for removing its ambiguities within the framework of the roadmap.
