By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

Iran's uranium production has grown fourfold, spokesman for Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Behruz Kamalwandi told reporters at theArak Heavy Water Complex.

From now on, Iran will produce 300 kilograms of uranium within 10 days (until June 27), Kamalwandi added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

He added that as the state announced, uranium enrichment will continue more rapidly.

At the next stage, uranium will be enriched by 3.7 percent within 1-2 days, he added.

If it is important for the European countries to protect the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), they must do their best and Iran's steps are entirely within this plan, he said.

JCPOA between Iran and the 5 + 1 group (US, Russia, China, UK, France, Germany) has been implemented since January 2016. The US announced about its withdrawal from a nuclear deal on May 8, 2018 and imposed sanctions on Iran in November.
