Iran discloses volume of products exported from Bushehr province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 11

The products worth $13.2 billion including gas condensate were exported through the customs of Iran’s southern Bushehr province from February 1, 2019 through February 1, 2020, Customs Inspector of Bushehr province and Director of the Bushehr customs office Behruz Garabeygi said.

“The weight of the exported products was 28.5 million tons,” Garabeygi added, Trend reports referring to the Iran Customs Administration.

The customs inspector added that 24 million tons of products worth $8.9 billion excluding gas condensate were exported during the reporting period.

"Among the exported products were mainly petrochemicals, gas condensate, mining materials, various aquatic animals and greens," Garabeygi said.

The customs inspector said that the products were exported to China, UAE, India, South Korea, Qatar, Pakistan, Brazil, Turkey and Iraq.

Garabeygi said that 459,000 tons of products worth $1.2 billion were imported through the Bushehr customs during the reporting period.

“Among the main imported products were cars, bananas, butter, tea, car parts and mechanical equipment,” Garabeygi said.

“The products were imported from China, UAE, India, Philippines, New Zealand, Germany, Sri Lanka, Italy, South Korea and Spain,” Garabeygi said.
