By Fatih Karimov - Trend: The Iranian Army experts have overhauled an F-4 and an F-14 fighter jet successfully.
An F-14 fighter jet was overhauled after 35,000 person-hour work at the Shahid Babaei Air Base in Isfahan,Iran's Tasnim news agency reported on Sept.9.
Also, an F-4 fighter jet was overhauled after 70,000 person-hour work at the Shahid Delhamed Air Base in Chabahar, the report added.
In recent years, Iran has taken great strides in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.
The Islamic Republic has repeatedly assured other countries that its military might poses no threat to other states, saying that its defense doctrine is entirely based on deterrence, Press TV reported.
