Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Ibrahim Rahimpur will arrive in Baku to organize the president's official visit to Azerbaijan, Iran's ambassador Mohsen Pak Ayeen told Trend Nov. 8.
During the visit Rahimpur plans to meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Khalaf Khalafov.
The bilateral cooperation issues will be discussed at the meeting.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's visit to Baku is scheduled for November 12.
"During President Rouhani's visit to Azerbaijan, the two countries will sign ten documents focusing on the development of cooperation in power industry, simplification of customs procedures, transportation, tourism, and trade sectors," the co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Iran intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation Mahmoud Vaezi said earlier.
