Iran is going to hold the fourth court hearing about Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian on August 10.

Rezaian's lawyer Leyla Ahsan said the hearing is going to be held in the Revolution Court, Fars news agency reported August 8.

Rezaian has been charged with espionage and at least three other major crimes. He was allowed to meet his lawyer for the first time in mid-May after 10 months.

When she was asked if the upcoming hearing is going to be the last court session on Rezaian's case, Ahsan said the court had told them so before.

"But issues always arise which lead to recalling the hearings," she said. "So, I cannot say for sure that this is going to be Rezaian's last hearing."

A spokesman for the judiciary has indicated that the charges against Rezaian are security related.

While the Revolutionary Court has not disclosed official charges against Rezaian, Iranian media say the charges are related to transfer of information to the United States Central Intelligence Agency.
