Iran's president Hassan Rouhani called for special attention to virtual space activities saying more effective measures shall be taken in this filed in the current year (started March 20), Irna reported.
He made the remarks in a meeting with members of the Supreme Council of Virtual Space here on Saturday which was also attended by Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani.
It was decided that parallel bodies in the field of virtual space be cancelled and their strategic, policy-making, monitoring, and coordination duties be delegated to the council.
