New Zealand's Foreign Minister Murray McCully will travel to Iran on May 23, according to Iran's Ambassador in New Zealand Jalaleddin Namini Mianji.
During his two-day visit, McCully will meet Iranian officials, including his counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and Agriculture Minister Mahmoud Hojjati, Mianji told IRNA news agency May 20.
McCully will lead a high-ranking delegation to Iran, which will resume the Iran-New Zealand political-economic discussions, added the ambassador.
The Middle East security issues will also be discussed during the Iran-New Zealand talks, said Mianji.
This will be McCully's second visit to Iran in the past 11 months.
