Iranian president plans to visit Russia

Plans are afoot to arrange Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to Moscow, an Iranian diplomat said.
Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Mehdia Sanai said that planning process for President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to Russia is being carried out, Iran's YJC (Young Journalists Club) website reported.
Sanai made remarks during a conference in Tehran marking 515 years of ties between Iran and Russia.
He did not provide further information on the president’s visit plan.
It was earlier announced that Rouhani would arrive in Moscow in January.
According to Iranian sources, in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (since March 20), Iran exported worth $86.5 million goods to Russia.
