Iran has named a new ambassador to Slovenia, according to Iran Foreign Ministry's Center for Public Diplomacy and Media, IRNA reported.
Kazem Shafei – the new Iranian ambassador to Slovenia – was proposed by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and appointed by President Hassan Rouhani.
Shafei has previously served as the head of border office at the Iranian Foreign Ministry's Department for Legal and International Affairs.
