Poor quality dinner caused the poisoning of 30 people living in a retirement home in the city of Pakdasht in Iran's Tehran province, the press secretary of Iran's Emergency Medical Aid Center, Mujtaba Khalidi said, the Fars news agency reported Dec. 23.
He said three people died on the way to the hospital, and all of them were men.
Khalidi said that in general the state of other poisoned persons, who were taken to hospitals, is satisfactory.
"Only one person, listed in serious condition, was taken to the Logman hospital in Tehran," Khalidi said.
