Iran, Russia discuss aerospace cooperation
Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs Sorena Sattari and head of Russian space agency Igor Kamarov on Thursday held talks on ways to develop aerospace cooperation, IRNA reported.
They reviewed different areas for cooperation on aerospace, including satellites and satellite-carriers.
The Russian official underlined the significance of aerospace technology to provide information and meet the needs of the human and its influence on the level of public knowledge, voicing Moscow's readiness to share experience with Tehran.
The Iranian vice-president, in the meantime, described the steps taken by Iran in the area of aerospace technology.
He called for further expansion of cooperation with Moscow in airspace technology. The Iranian delegation specialized in science and technology led by Sattari conferred with President Vladimir Putin during their stay in Moscow.
Winding up the four-day visit to Moscow, they will leave for Tehran later in the day.
