Iran is going to unveil a military helicopter and a tank, made domestically, in the near future.
The helicopter will come under the name Saba-248 and the tank under the name Karrar, Mehr news agency quoted Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan as saying Nov. 16.
These new products have been built by technicians at the Ministry of Defense in cooperation with science and research centers across the country, he said.
Dehqan said Iran is relying on science-based activities to minimize its dependence on foreign resources.
The Iranian armed forces have made great achievements in the past years, building tanks, radars, drones, missiles, torpedoes, etc.
