Iran's local forces will partake in the Iranian Air Force's military trainings, Deputy Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh was quoted as saying by IRNA.
Earlier, the FARS news agency reported with reference to Nasirzadeh that Iran's Air Force plans to hold a military maneuver with one of its neighboring countries in the near future.
Nasirzadeh did not specify the country involved. He said, however, that the joint military maneuvers will be held in September, FARS reported.
At a meeting with the military attachés in 2010 IRIAF Commander Hasan Shahsafi spoke of the country's intention to hold joint military maneuvers with one of the regional countries.
