Iraq's 79-year-old President Jalal Talabani died at one of hospitals in Baghdad, Iraqi television Baghdad TV reported.
Earlier it was reported that he had a stroke.
He was hospitalized yesterday after he fell into faint.
Talabani was elected as Iraqi President in November 2010.
