Azad Baghirov, a representative of the Caucasian Muslims Department, which is currently in Mecca, told Trend that Azerbaijan pilgrims were preparing for performing main devotions of Hajj.
This evening the Azerbaijan pilgrim will leave Mecca for Mina, and then to the Mountain of Arafat, where they will perform main devotions of hajj throwing stones to Shaytan, oblation, etc, said the representative of the Department.
According to Mr. Baghirov, all the pilgrims are safe and healthy, feel good and prepare for one of the filed days in their life.
4,500 Azerbaijani citizens went for hajj this year. 700 seats have been granted to private tourism companies which have the corresponding license on organizing pilgrimage.
