Azerbaijan's defense expenditures will amount to $2.511 billion in the 2011 public budget, which is more by 1.187 billion manat or 89.7 percent compared to the 2010 public budget, Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said during the discussion of the draft 2011 public budget at a plenary meeting of the Parliament.

On Oct.10, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire from positions outside the Berkaber village in the Ijevan region of Armenia to Azerbaijani troops in the Gizil Hajili village in the Azerbaijani Gazakh region at 09.40-09.55, as well as from positions in nameless heights and outside the Tapgaragoyunlu village in the Goranboy region at с 11.40-11.50 and 19.40-19.55.
Further, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire to the Azerbaijani troops from positions outside the Seysulan village in the Tartar region at 21.00- 21.25, as well as from positions in nameless heights and outside the Horadiz and Gorgan villages in the Fizuli region at 22.25-22.30, 22.30- 22.45 and 22.40- 22.50; from positions in nameless heights in the Khojavand region at 23.00- 23.05 and 23.20- 23.30; from positions outside the Yusifjanli village in the Agdam region at 23.10- 23.30, the Ministry reported.
The Azerbaijani troops answered their fire. No causalities were reported
Oct.11, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire from positions in the nameless heights in the Jabrayil region at 23.00-23.20, as well as from positions outside the Chayli village in the Tartar region at 23.40-23.55 , the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
Further the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire from positions outside the Gorgan village and nameless heights in the Fuzuli region at 00.40-00.50 and 01.00-01.20 Oct.12.
The Azerbaijani troops answered their fire. No causalities were reported
Oct.12, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire from positions outside the Tapgaragoyunlu village in the Goranboy region at 10.30-10.40, as well as from positions in the nameless heights in the Fuzuli region at 20.05-20.15, from positions outside the Seysulan in the Tartar region.
The Azerbaijani troops answered their fire. No causalities were reported.
On Oct.13, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire from positions outside the Azamut village in the Ijevan region of Armenia to Azerbaijani troops in the Jafarli village in the Azerbaijani Gazakh region at 12:55-13:00, as well as from positions in nameless heights and outside the Gulustan village in the Goranboy region 07:40- 08:00 and 16:35-17:00.
Further, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire to the Azerbaijani troops from positions outside the Garakhanbayli and Horadiz villages in the Fizuli region at 12:50-13:00, 15:45-16:05 and 22:40-22:50; from positions in nameless heights in the Khojavand region at 04:00-dan 04:30 and from positions outside the Marzili and Yusifjanli villages in the Agdam region at 04:00-04:30 and 06:00- 06:05 on Oct.14, the Ministry reported.
