Azerbaijan announces tender for road construction
The executive power of the Absheron district announced a tender for the construction of Fatmayi-Goradil road, the official press said on Monday.

Azerbaijani entrepreneurs invited to participate in investment projects in Tajikistan
Tajikistan has invited Azerbaijani investors to participate in investment projects, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) said on Tuesday.
"There are ample opportunities for investment projects to explore and develop mineral deposits," the statement said.
In particular, it is recommended to conduct the search and evaluation work on Kurgovad site in the Western Pamirs, rich in alumina raw, material exploration at Mishikkol polymetallic deposit, to explore coal deposits Raniob and so on.

Consultants attracted within World Bank project in Azerbaijan
Social Fund for the Development of internally displaced persons in Azerbaijan announced a tender for consultancy services in the frame of the World Bank (WB) project to improve living conditions and incomes of displaced persons in Azerbaijan, the Fund said on Wednesday.
Consulting services are involved to evaluate repairs to eight dormitories.
Bids must be submitted to the fund until August 22, 2012.
It is the third project to improve the welfare of internally displaced persons in the country.
The third WB project on improving the living conditions and income of IDPs in Azerbaijan was approved in 2011 and funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD is part of the WB). The share of government involvement in the project is $28.5 million. Thus, the overall funding of the project is $78.5 million. Azerbaijan and the World Bank (WB) signed a credit agreement in Baku on Nov.16, 2011.
Under the project, there will be over 200 micro-projects carried out that will cover 120,000-150,000 people. It will also contribute to improving the living conditions of about 30,000 people. About 1400 young people will be able to get training and grants to start their own business. In addition, about 1500 micro credits will be given to the displaced to open or expand a business.
In total, about 185,000 IDPs in Azerbaijan will have greater access to infrastructure services, to improve their living conditions and earning potential under the new WB project.

Aug.10 Azerbaijani Health Ministry procures equipment for new facilities

Azerbaijan begins to create model urban cadastre
The State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of Azerbaijan announced a tender for the purchase of works on creation of the state urban cadastre of the city of Shirvan, the tender commission said on Friday.
The cost of participation in the tender is 200 manat.
The bids will be received up to 16:00 on September 25.
Cadastre to build the city of Shirvan will be the model for other major cities in the future, deputy chairman of the State Committee Dovlethan Dovlethanov told Trend earlier.
"We want to create a new programme product called town planning cadastre which will be compatible with other cadastres such as land, State Committee for Property, and so on. We want to make it by way of an example of Shirvan," Dovlethanov said.
Taking into account that there isn't such a cadastre in the country, yet we expect foreign companies will participate in the tender.
"We want the winners of the tender to not only create this product, but lead it sometime in around six months in order to educate local authorities. The work will take two to two and a half years," Dovlethanov said.

Azerbaijan announces investment competition for sale of JSC Mingachevir Regenerat's shares
The Azerbaijani State Committee on Property has announced an investment competition for sale of 99.65 percent stake of Mingachevir Regenerat, the Mulkiyyet newspaper published by the Committee reports on Saturday.
The stake, put up for the competition consists of a standard package of the investment competition (85 percent) and shares remaining from the preferential sale to work collective (14.65 percent).
The competition is open to physical and legal entities of Azerbaijan and foreign investors.
Those wishing to participate in the competition must submit an investment program that includes proposals to restore the enterprise's activity.
Applicants must also submit a bank guarantee of five percent of the value of the investment proposals and proposals to transfer 240,000 manat to the state budget.
Applicant must provide a letter of guarantee of any bank in the amount of 80,000 manat to ensure the seriousness of intentions.
The authorized capital of JSC is 404,350 manat as of July 1, to which amount 202,175 shares with total nominal value of 2 manat each have been issued. The subject of competition is 201,475 shares with total nominal value of 402,950 manat.
