Azerbaijan approves town planning control rules
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree approving the "Town planning control rules".
The rules were approved to execute the Town Planning and Construction Code of Azerbaijan.
The Cabinet of Ministers was charged with preparing the proposals to bring the president's acts in accordance with the decree within three months and submitting them to the president; bringing the legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers into line with the decree within three months and informing the president. It must control bringing the legal acts of the central executive bodies in accordance with the decree and inform the president about the execution within five months, as well as solve other issues arising from this decree.
According to the approved rules, the Committee on Architecture and Urban Planning will inform the presidential administration about the results of the state town planning control as of the year.
The Ministry of Justice was charged with bringing the legal and normative acts of the central executive authorities in accordance with the decree and informing the Cabinet of Ministers.
