The actual income in the revenue part of Azerbaijan's state budget amounted to 17.169 billion AZN (31.9 percent of GDP) in January-November 2014 or by 8.76 percent more compared to October.
The world oil prices have decreased by 40 percent since June 2014. This had an impact on the dynamics of the state budget revenues of Azerbaijan. The proceeds for July increase by 18.86 percent compared to June while the index increased by 11.77 percent in August compared to July. The revenues increased by 13.4 percent in January-September compared to January-August, but only by 12.2 percent in January-October compared to late September.
Around 35.8 percent (6.145 billion AZN) in the structure of the state budget revenues was ensured through the Ministry of Taxes in January-November. The proceeds from customs duties and taxes for the period totaled 1.256 billion AZN (with a weight of 7.3 percent) and through other sources were 9.767 billion AZN (56.9 percent).
Around 2.799 billion AZN or 15.9 percent of total revenues were transferred from the value-added tax (VAT) to the state budget during the reporting period. The proceeds on income tax amounted to 2.217 billion AZN (12.9 percent), payroll tax - 876.7 million AZN (5.1 percent), excise tax - 754.5 million AZN (4.4 percent), property tax - 128.6 million AZN (0.8 percent), land tax - 32.9 million AZN (0.2 percent), subsoil use tax - 113.4 million AZN (0.7 percent), the tax on foreign economic activity - 650.9 million AZN (3.8 percent).
The state budget expenditures for the period totaled 15.1 billion AZN (28.1 percent of GDP) or by 8.9 percent more compared to October.
Around 1.782 billion AZN (with a weight of 11.8 percent), education - 1.209 billion AZN (eight percent), health care - 552.7 million AZN (3.7 percent), the maintenance of the prosecution, security, law enforcement, judicial bodies - 920.4 million AZN (6.1 percent), investments in the economy amounted to 6.124 billion AZN (40.5 percent) were spent from the state budget for the social security and protection of the population in January-November.
Around 22.5 percent (3.402 billion AZN) of public expenditure was spent for salaries, pensions and allowances.
The state budget surplus amounted to 2.072 billion AZN (3.9 percent of GDP) in January-November this year or by 7.6 percent more than at the end of October.
