Azerbaijani investors can invest in different areas of Iran
In recent years, the Azerbaijani investors in Iran have invented mainly in the oil and petrochemical industry, housing construction, production of construction materials, Minister of Economy and Finance of Iran Ali Tayyebnia said at a press conference in Baku.
He said that there are no obstacles for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran.
"Azerbaijani investors in Iran can take advantage of significant potential available in the industry, mines and other areas," the minister said.
Tayyebnia said that there is no accurate data about the capital of Azerbaijani investors in Iran.
"However, in recent years, Azerbaijani investors are interested in investing in Iran," said the minister. "In particular, they are interested in investing in the free economic zone "Aras", located in the territory of Iran bordering with Azerbaijan, and the free trade zone "Maku."
He said that Iran is interested in investing of funds by Azerbaijani investors on both a bilateral and multilateral basis.
