Iran president inaugurates two South Pars phases
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has officially inaugurated Phases 15 and 16 of the South Pars gas field in southern coasts of the country.
Uzbekistan increasing oil production
The US Radial Drilling Services Inc will carry out the radial drilling of 40 wells at the oil fields in Uzbekistan, a representative of the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company said.
The representative said that the work worth around $6 million will be implemented within the contract on radial drilling in the fields of Shurtanneftegaz unitary subsidiary enterprise, JSC Andijanneft and JSC Jarkurganneft.
A radial drilling technology is planned to be used to intensify the production at the oil fields.
Russia ceases purchasing Turkmen gas
Russian Gazprom Export LLC has officially notified the Turkmengaz State Concern about the pre-term unilateral termination of the purchase-sale contract since January 1, 2016, the Turkmen concern said.
