Implementation of the song contest "Türkvizyon" was very good, told Trend the Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) Dusen Kaseinov.
According to him, Turkic and non-Turkic states participated in this song contest. All participants demonstrated a diversity of performances.
"I was always asked , why a large-scale song contests are not conducted in the Turkic world? Cannot we hold such contests? Both financially and from a musical point of view, we can manage it . I also was at the final show as a spectator . And I have experienced wonderful feelings, being a spectator. The contest helped to establish contacts with each other. And I am very pleased. I am very pleased when young people are friends with each other. Communicating with each other, learning something new from each other increase the level of professionalism. Because the future is in the hands of young people. This song contest helped raise young talent together, and the result is simply amazing", - said Kaseinov.
TÜRKSOY Secretary-General noted that TMB channel for a short time became very popular. He welcomed the support provided by the TMB channel for the "Türkvizyon" song contest.
"This song contest has been organized in a very short time. Hopefully until next year TMB channel accumulate more experience, which will allow them to hold a contest at a very high level," said Kaseinov.
"Türkvizyon" Song Contest 2013 (Turkish: Türk Dünyası Türkvizyon Şarkı Yarışması 2013) is the first edition of the Türkvizyon Song Contest. The contest is an inaugural competition, and was held in Eskişehir, Turkey.
Twenty-four countries and regions which have either a large Turkic population or a widely spoken Turkic language participated in the contest.
The semi-final held on December 19.
On December 21, Farid Hasanov from Azerbaijan won the inaugural edition of "Türkvizyon" song contest with his song "Yaşa".
