In a statement posted on its website, the General Staff said on Tuesday that the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) dealt a heavy blow to the terrorist group with a large-scale operation conducted by three commando brigades in the rugged terrain of the southeastern provinces of Hakkari and Şırnak despite the bad weather conditions.
Turkish troops killed three terrorists and seized large amounts of ammunition, kitchenware, basic foodstuffs and clothing during the operation, the General Staff said in the statement, also releasing more than 20 photos from the operation.
