An artillery shell was found near a kindergarten in the town of Berd, in the Armenian Tavush region on Monday, Novosti-Armenia reported today with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
'Sappers took the 75 mm artillery shell to a military unit', a statement said.
Earlier, information about weapons on the site of the former military base in Gumri town, Shirak region was obtained.
"A rescue department has found 28 detonators for artillery shells," the press service said.
