Armenian government approves draft treaty on its joining EAU

The Armenian government has approved the draft of the Treaty of Joining the Eurasian Economic Union Oct.2, submitted for approval of the members of the Cabinet, News-Armenia agency reported.
Deputy Finance Minister Suren Karayan read the main points of the agreement while presenting the issue.

Prime Minister of Armenia Ovik Abramyan gave all agencies 3 days to finalize the document and make sure its Armenian version for complies with the original.

Armenian Foreign Ministry issued a draft Treaty on Armenia's joining the Eurasian Economic Union Sept. 26. It is planned to be signed Oct. 10 in Minsk on the results of the talks of the leaders of the EAU member countries.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, adopted the proposal of the government to sign a treaty of Armenia's joining the EAU Sept.1 2014.

The final version of the treaty of Armenia's joining the EAU is ready and was submitted Sept.3 to the governments of the Republic of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. Each of the 4 countries holds internal procedures necessary for the signing of the merger agreement of Armenia's joining the EAU Treaty from May 29, 2014 by the presidents.
