An action of protest is being held in front of the building of the Armenian Constitutional Court Nov. 14.
About twenty young people are protesting against Armenia's joining the Eurasian Economic Union (EAU), chanting "Free Armenia", News-Armenia agency reported Nov. 14.
The police pushed them away from the courthouse.
The Armenian Constitutional Court began considering the compatibility of the treaty on accession to the EAU to the basic law of the country.
The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council approved the accession of Armenia to the EAU.
The relevant agreement was signed on October 10 following a meeting of the council in Minsk at the level of the presidents. Thus, Armenia becomes a full member of the EAU from January 1, 2015 as Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
