( Prime-News ) - The World Patriarch Bartolommeo I arrived in Tbilisi today regarding the 30th anniversary of enthronement and 75th jubilee of the Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II.
The guest was met by Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II, member of the holly synod, Zurab Noghaideli, Prime Minister of Georgia, MPs and representatives of Tbilisi city Hall, at Tbilisi International Airport.
Official reception will be held at the Patriarchy of Georgia on Friday evening.
Prime-News was told at the Parliament of Georgia that the guest together with the Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II would hold divine service at the Holly Trinity Cathedral and Svetistskhoveli Cathedral on October 14.
The guests will visit Sighnaghi, after that they will visit Nunnery of St. Nino in Bodbe, where the grave of St. Nino is situated.
A concert in honour of the guest will be held in Zakaria Paliashvili State Opera and Ballet Theater.
World Patriarch and delegations of other churches will leave Georgia on October 16.
