People Injured by Tear Gas and Water Hoses Take Refuge in Parliament Building and Church

Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Protestors suffering from the use of tear gas and water cannons in front of the Georgian Parliament have taken refuge in the parliament building and Kahuset Church.

Dozens of people are currently waiting there, unable to move as a result of the tear gas.

Koba Davitashvili, Leader of the People's Party, stated that the majority of the protestors were poisoned with gas, yet it is unknown exactly how many people have been injured during the dispersion of a rally in front of the parliament. Tear gas was used on the protestors dispersed by police from Rustaveli Avenue.
