Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / The Georgian Parliament will not consider a Decree and Order by the Georgian President on applying the Emergency Situation in the territory of Georgia. The issue was injected in the agenda of the plenary meeting of the parliament, which will begin on 9 November 16.00pm [ Tbilisi hour].
Nino Burjanadze, the Georgian Speaker, has recently said that the Parliament will more probably not consider on Friday [9 November] the issue on application of emergency situation.
The efficiency of the emergency situation expires at 20.30p.m. It is to be effective within 48 hours of the publication of the presidential order unless the Parliament extends it.
