Georgia, Tbilisi /corr. Trend N.Kirskhalia / The Prime Minister of Georgia, Lado Gurgenidze, openly highlighted his choice in the Presidential elections in Georgia on 5 January. He stated in the polling station in Tbilisi on 5 January that he voted for candidate for presidency, Mikhail Saakashvili.
"I put circle around N5 because I oppose poverty and support integration to NATO," he said. The Prime Minister assessed the election situation in the Country as stable. "Despite weather conditions, the activity of the electors is considerable and is growing," he said.
"My forecasts are that Georgia will go forward and overcome poverty," Gurgenidze said.
