Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Michael Saakashvili, the Georgian President, issued a decree to appoint Lado Gurgenidze as Prime Minister of Georgia, Saakashvili stated during the inauguration ceremony in the Bagrat Church on 21 January.
"I have requested for Gurgenidze to submit a new Cabinet of Ministers in the near future," the President stated.
Approximately 18 Ministers will lose their posts.
