Georgian, Turkish Border Service Consider Border Problems

Kirtskhalia / On 22 January, the representatives of Turkish and Georgian border services met within the framework of the memorandum signed between Turkey and Georgia. The head of the arian Government Levan Varshalomidze and Governor Artvin were in attendance.

According to the memorandum, meetings between the Georgian and Turkish border services take place twice in a year, and during them problems are considered and border security mechanisms are developed.

The meeting discussed not only border security, but also other important issues, Varshalomidze said.
