Georgian Foreign Ministry’s Key Priority is Creation of Favourable International Environment to Restore Territorial Integrity –Georgian Foreign Minister

Georgia, Tbilisi, 25 January / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / The key priority of David Bakradze, the Georgian Foreign Minister, will be the settlement of conflicts and unification of Georgia. "I will focus all my effort in the Ministry for unification of Georgia," Bakradze stated to journalists in Strasburg.

Bakradsze accompanies Michael Saakashvili, the Georgian President, during his trip to Strasburg. The Georgian delegation participated in the PACE session. Saakashvili delivered a report in the session and answered to PACE MPs questions.

"We should create a favourable international environment for settlement of conflicts. We should tackle all our tasks in 2008," Bakradze stated.

The integration into the NATO and European Union, as well as regional cooperation and improvement of the relations with Russia are the priority issues of the Georgian Government in 2008.
