Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Georgia has established standing commissions on close relations with NATO and promotes active relations with the Alliance, David Bakradze, Georgian Foreign Minister, stated.
The Georgian Foreign and Defence Ministries should complete groups, which will operate within the framework of intensive cooperation between Georgia and NATO. The groups will develop concrete plans of interaction which will enable Georgia to gain MAP in December 2008.
"We will develop a special plan for the statement of Georgia for MAP in December to be effective," Bakradze stated.
According to Bata Kutelia, Deputy Defence Minister, the bilateral groups have been established and are functioning in Georgia.
