Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Georgia cannot take responsibility for the security of Russian tourists in Abkhazia, Temur Yakobashvili, Georgian State Minister on Reintegration issues, stated to journalists, commenting the initiatives of Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh.
Bagapsh made a statement to soften the visa system for Russian tourists who visited the region for a holiday. "However, there is no visa system between Abkhazia and Russia. Tourists should be informed that they visit the conflict territory and may face danger at any time. We are not responsible for Russian tourists," Yakobashvili stated.
