Georgia and Latvia Sign Agreement on Cooperation in Medical Sphere

Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / The Health Ministries of Georgia and Latvia signed an agreement on cooperation in the medical sphere. The document was signed by Alexander Kvitashvili, Georgian Health Minister, and Latvian's Minister Ivars Eglitis.

According to Kvitashvili, the agreement provides the cooperation in medical spheres, exchange of information, bilateral visits and establishment of relations on the medical-training. "Latvia is a friend of Georgia and it is our pleasure that we today we are going to take one more step for strengthening the bilateral relations between our countries," he noted.

In his turn, Eglitis noted that it was his first visit abroad and he was pleased that it was Georgia where he is visiting. "I hope that our interactions will be productive and useful for both the sides," he stated. Eglitis invited Georgian Minister to Riga.
