Future Vice-speaker Of Parliament: Consultations Between Authorities And Opposition To Be Transparent
According to Mikheil Machavariani, future Vice-speaker of the Parliament, consultations and dialogues between the authorities and opposition will be transparent, reported PNA.
Machavariani told journalists that the consultations will start as soon as the opposition is ready.
As he said, before starting the consultations, the ruling party will begin to fulfill promises given to the Georgian people.
At the first session of the new parliament, the members of the ruling party proposed opposition to hold consultations the majority has already proposed positions of parliamentary committees to opposition, which has its own terms.
Christian-Democrats plan to present a memorandum of terms to the majority.
But the Labor Party and the United Opposition categorically refuses to take part in the consultations. United Opposition leaders say any position proposed by the majority is unacceptable for them. The Labor Party says the dialogue will be senseless only in case the CEC nullifies results of polls in Kvemo Kartli and Samteskhe-Javakheti Regions.
