NATO Evaluative Mission Expected In Georgia
NATO evaluative mission is expected in Georgia in the second half of June, Zaza Gogava, Head of United Headquarters of Armed forces of Georgia, stated to journalists, reported Prime-News.
In his words, this is the second NATO delegation arrived in Georgia with evaluative mission.
In his opinion this testifies that alliance pays serious attention to situation regarding reforms in the Georgian army.
Zaza Gogava stated that in the frames of the visit issues on meeting NATO standards in the Georgian army as well as issues on intensification of NATO-Georgia cooperation will be discussed.
Georgia plans to get NATO membership plan (MAP) on December of the current year.
