Georgia, Tbilisi, 27 June / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Temur Yakobashvili, Georgian State Minister on re-integration issues paid an official visit to the United States. According to the Georgian State Ministry, Yakobashvili will hold consultations with the UN representatives in New York.
Yakobashvili will also visit Washington to meet with representatives of the US Administration.
The issues regarding the situation in conflict zones and peace plans to solve the conflict in Abkhazia, developed by experts of a country-friends Group of the UN Secretary General on Georgia, are expected to be discussed in the meeting.
The new packet of approaches to settle the conflict in Abkhazia was discussed by the Georgian President Michael Saakashvili with German experts and political representatives in Berlin on 24 June
