Georgia, Tbilisi, 10 July / corr. Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Georgia should continue progressive movements on establishment of democracy, Condoleezza Rise, the US Secretary of State, stated at the joint briefing with Michael Saakashvili, the Georgian President, in Tbilisi.
"We spoke about this topic with the Georgian opposition in Tbilisi on 10 July, stressing that this movement should be manifested in strengthening on democratic institutions. These are the powerful parliament, powerful media, powerful and independent court, which will become a foundation stone of democracy in Georgia," she stated.
Rice said that she was proud of friendship with Georgia and her country would do its best to establish successful democracy in Georgia.
