Separatists Attacked Georgian Peacekeepers Post

The Georgian peacekeepers post, situated at a nearby territory of the Sarabuki Hill, have came under intensive fire late last night, reported PNA

The paramilitary unites of Georgia's separatists region of South Ossetia has rushed to another attack to a position of the Georgian peacekeepers and tried to occupy Sarabuki Hill.

There have not been any reports about wounding; during firing, the representatives of the paramilitary unite of the authorities of the separatist region of South Ossetia used machineguns, submachine guns and mortar shells.

Mamuka Kurashvili, Chief of Staff of Peacekeeping Operations of the Joint Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, said that the Georgian side never commences fire first but any attack from the separatists will always be responded adequately.
