Primary Parliamentary Elections to Take Place in Georgia on 4 October

Georgia, Tbilisi, 5 August / corr. Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / The primary parliamentary elections will be held in Georgia together with the elections of the Supreme Council of Adjariya on 4 October. The Georgian Central Elections Commission (CEC) took this decision at its meeting on 3 August.

The primary elections will take place in two districts of Tbilisi, including Vake and Didube. The representatives of the Unified Opposition, including David Gamkrelidze and David Saganelidze, who won the elections in these districts, refused from their mandates and stated that the results of the elections were falsified.

The CEC also took a decision on technical issues to organize the elections in these two districts.
