Georgia, Tbilisi, 11 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Shelling and bombing of the Georgian territories must be stopped on this stage. This was said after the meeting of the France Foreign Minister Bernar Cushner, Finland - Alexander Stubb, and Georgian -Yekaterina Tkeshelashvili.
Tkeshelashvili has delivered such report concerning the current situation in Georgia to diplomats from France and Finland, who are currently headed the EU and OSCE.
"Peace should be restored in our country in order to settle the issues within a political dialogue," Tkeshelashvili said.
Tkeshelashvili expressed hope that "so strong international reaction will permit to stop the war on the Georgian territory".
According to the French Minister, he arrived to Georgia in order to get acquainted with the current situation in Georgia and suggested Mikhail Saakashvili three staged plan to regulate the crisis. "We get familiar with the situation, submitted our proposals to Georgian President and wait for response. We will also meet with refugees and later meet with Lavrov and Putin in Moscow," the Minister stated.
Stubb said that the key task was to stop shelling immediately.
