Georgian Former Foreign Minister Consider Tbilisi Have Chance to Receive MAP

Georgia, Tbilisi, 15 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Irakliy Menagarashvili, former Georgian Foreign Minister, believes that Tbilisi has a chance to receive NATO membership action plan (NAP). "It is difficult to predict further development of events, but Georgia will receive the program," Menagarashvili said.

"The current events will change relations of world community towards Georgia. The issue regarding NATO MAP was expected to be considered in NATO department in December. A consensus amongst the member-countries is needed to be reached," Menagarashvili said.
